Hardwood Floor Mops

by engage on Aug.27, 2009, under As Seen on TV

I recently noticed my wife on a website for the Bona Mop. I recognized this product as an As Seen on TV offer, so I thought I would do some impromptu research. She told me she had searched for ‘hardwood floor mops‘ and ended up on the Bona website.

This got me thinking that there’s probably a decent niche for wood floor mop searches, and lo-and-behold if I didn’t come away with HardwoodFloorMops.com – Frankly, I was surprised that this domain name was still available (as well as the singular variation, which I’ll also eventually develop into something life changing). So I’ll be populating the new site with info on various mops that are available that are designed specifically for hardwood floors.

While this may not be rocket science, nor as fun as a Snuggie or Dual Saw website, it is meeting a need out there, and the someone selling these As Seen on TV Mops may as well be yours truly.

High Hopes and Heartbreak for Brooke White Website

by engage on Aug.12, 2009, under Social Media

A random Tweet in my stream alerted me that today was Brooke White’s mom’s birthday. For those of you who don’t remember, Brooke White is a former American Idol finalist, and was pretty popular at the time. So I checked out her website and low and behold – she has an album out. Who knew? Well, I better check that out. If you go to the videos section and want to watch her latest music video, here’s what you will experience – ‘Embedding disabled by request’ … Nice.

Note to Brooke's webmaster - When you disable embedding on YouTube, not only do you limit your audience, you just might hose your own site.
